Minimium Requirements for Risk Management within Asset Management Companies
Old requirements for a new target group
In January 2010 the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority published new requirements for risk management in Asset Manager Companies „MaRisk Investmentgesellschaften“ (InvMaRisk).
This InvMaRisk makes concrete requirements on risk management standards and distinguishes:
- Company risks
- Fund risks
- Total risk profile
Thereby regulations on risk management for Asset Managers become much stricter and do significantly increase the requirements on a sound organization.
